JOB DESCRIPTION
South Ayrshire Sport and Leisure are proud to deliver a comprehensive swimming lesson programme, supporting children from 4 months+ to develop essential water skills and confidence.
Under the direction of the Active Living Officer and Aquatics Instructor successful candidates will assist in the planning and delivery of aquatics lessons across our venues.
This post provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills by shadowing and learning from our experienced aquatics instructors. As part of our recruit to train, Sport and Leisure will fully fund your Scottish Swimming Qualification. Successful candidates must be willing to work towards and achieve this qualification within 6 months of the post start date.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about swimming and are interested in developing a career in leisure.

REQUIREMENTS
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. Post B: (4 hours) - Citadel Leisure Centre - Sunday 9:00am - 1:00pm
Post C: (4.5 hours) - Maybole Leisure Club - Thursday 3:30pm - 8:00pm
