As a Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that build students’ understanding of programming, algorithms, and digital systems. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and computer systems according to Key stages 3, 4 and 5. Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, and digital creativity. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Maintain a positive, well-managed, and inclusive classroom environment. Support students in developing safe and responsible digital practices. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental objectives. What we need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Computer Science in UK secondary schools is desirable. Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science or related fields. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities. A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
