We are looking for Direct Entry Pilots who have the skills, energy, experience and aspirations for Command.
As an experienced First Officer, with strong leadership skills, you will be inspired to be a Captain, role modelling the highest professional standards across the BA Euroflyer operation.
As a DEP, you will join the fleet and our pathway is designed to support and navigate you to success as a Captain at BA Euroflyer within 12 months (subject to vacancy, and meeting the standards required)

Based in Sussex, our flying programme means we return to our home base at London Gatwick every evening. Whether you are an early riser or would rather work late into the evening, the nature of our flying means you can even preference for what you fly when you come to work. Starting salary of £78,000 plus allowances circa £14,332 (based on 800 flying hours per year).
~ On successful completion of your command course your salary will increase to £115,460 plus allowances, circa £25,148, with annual incremental pay uplifts on a 15 point pay scale.
~ 30 days leave per year, including single use leave days for those special occasions you really don’t want to miss.
~ Up to 15% employer contribution (up to £11,250 in year one and £16,500 once upgraded) direct to your pension to help you accrue for your future.

Qualified pilots taller than 1.91m may submit an application but will be required to undergo a functionality check to confirm their ability to meet requirements of the seating positions in the BA Euroflyer fleet.
Spoken and written English ICAO level 6
Valid passport (minimum 12 months before expiry date)
Valid class one medical with a minimum of 6 months validity from contract start.
Candidates who are not successful at initial screening, video interview, capacity testing or assessment centre stage can reapply for the pilot recruitment campaign after 6 months from their most recent assessment date. Candidates who were not successful at the SIM stage must wait 12 months before reapplying for the pilot recruitment campaign.
You may only apply to one airline within the British Airways family (British Airways, Euroflyer, or Cityflyer) at a time. If you are unsuccessful in one campaign, you will be unable to reapply to any of the three airlines within the British Airways family until the specified re-apply period has elapsed.
Candidates in the hold pool will receive a maximum of 2 job offers. If a candidate turns down their second job offer, they will exit the hold pool and be required to reapply after 12 months and complete the entire selection process again.
