About the Role:
This is a key temporary role within the Recycling and Waste Business Systems and Technical Support team, providing vital administrative and customer support to ensure the smooth running of the Garden Waste Collection Service. You will play an important part in maintaining high standards of service delivery, supporting both customers and internal colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the administration of the garden waste service, including customer applications, renewals, and permit distribution
* Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally
* Keep service information and web content accurate and up to date
* Monitor service performance, investigating missed collections and liaising with crews to resolve issues
* Provide comprehensive business support to Waste & Street Services teams.
* Assist with data management, process improvement, and compliance with GDPR
* Support with procurement, budget monitoring, and financial administration
* Manage departmental communications, training records, and payroll support tasks
* Produce service materials such as letters, leaflets, and internal documentation
* Support recruitment and HR-related administration as required
