Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Salary/Benefits: 25k - 42k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a leading provider in Asbestos Management, with new contracts in the Home Counties and South East. They are recruiting for a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor to undertake the full range of asbestos surveys and represent the company in a professional manner. You will be upholding high levels of customer service and maintaining strong working relationships with clients. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include thorough training schemes.
The role will involve travel to the following locations: Aylesbury, Dunstable, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, Bletchley, Buckingham, Brackley, Banbury, Bedford, Bicester, Kidlington, Oxford, Abingdon, Witney, Didcot, Wantage, Reading, Thatcham, Slough, Watford, St Albans, Bracknell, Camberley, Basingstoke, Aldershot, Andover, Farnham, Woking, Guildford.
Experience / Qualifications:
1. Must be qualified with the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
2. Will have strong experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
3. Good knowledge of technical guidelines, including: HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
4. Strong literacy and IT skills
5. Professional attitude
6. Good client-facing skills
The Role:
1. Completing Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys across commercial, local authority and residential sites
2. Undertaking re-inspection surveys
3. Safely sampling for ACMs
4. Writing bespoke survey reports with detailed schematic drawings
5. Discussing findings directly with clients and providing practical technical advice
6. Travelling to client sites to meet and outline contract requirements
