Responsibilities
* Oversee kitchen operations and manage food preparation processes to ensure high-quality meals are consistently delivered.
* Create and develop innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and skill development.
* Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting, with a solid understanding of culinary techniques.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
* Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
