Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently operating the telehandler to move various construction materials (e.g., bricks, timber, roofing supplies) across the site.
* Delivering materials promptly and precisely to different trades and work areas as needed, ensuring continuous workflow.
* Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of incoming deliveries, coordinating with transport teams.
* Performing daily machine checks to ensure safe operation before use, and reporting any issues immediately.
* Strictly adhering to all site health and safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing a safe working environment.
* Communicating effectively with site management, banksmen, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a telehandler driver, ideally with a background in new build housing sites.
* Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo.
* Possesses excellent operating skills and a strong awareness of their surroundings in a busy construction environment.
* Is reliable, punctual, and has a proactive approach to their work.
* Is committed to maintaining high safety standards on site at all times.
* Full UK driving licence.
