Dollar Academy is seeking to recruit an exceptional SSG Administrator to provide vital support to our Senior Staff Group (SSG), including the Deputy Rector, Assistant Rectors, and the Boarding Registrar.
This is a key role within the Academy, ensuring the smooth operation of senior administrative functions that underpin our academic and pastoral success.
Key tasks include:
* Managing diaries and providing day-to-day administrative support to the Deputy Rector, and the Assistant Rectors (as appropriate).
* Coordinating school calendar activities and major events such as Prize Giving, Futures Fair, and Parents’ Evenings.
* Communicating effectively with parents and external bodies, preparing documents such as pupil references and transcripts.
* Supporting internal operations by maintaining email groups and minuting key meetings.
* Assisting the Boarding Registrar with administrative duties including managing applications and consent documentation.
* Liaising closely with the School Office Manager and provide managerial support during absences.
The successful candidate will have:
* Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence in using databases.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
* A flexible and professional approach to working with staff, pupils, and parents.
* Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
