Description
Keoghs is seeking to recruit an Intelligence Analyst to join our busy, fast-paced Intelligence Team. The role involves working on various claims, including motor fraud, credit hire, EL PL, and complex injury matters. The analyst will identify relevant intelligence evidence from diverse resources to support case decisions and resolutions.
Upon receiving specific instructions, the analyst will perform searches, document all relevant intelligence—whether in reports, pictorial formats, or statements—and provide ad hoc intelligence to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze claims files and produce reports for clients and file handlers regarding analysis outcomes.
* Use desktop systems and analytical techniques to research and verify information, detecting potential fraud.
* Compile profiles on individuals and groups suspected of fraudulent activities.
* Prepare witness evidence, including statements, for civil court proceedings.
* Utilize advanced IT software (e.g., iBase, i2 Analysts Notebook, Excel) to produce intelligence reports.
* Deliver detailed briefings to lawyers and clients on investigations.
* Draft reports on fraud risk assessments related to insurance fraud and fraud rings.
* Create reports following the Intelligence Cycle and using the National Intelligence Model (NIM).
* Mentor trainee analysts informally where appropriate.
* Meet daily chargeable targets and adhere to service level agreements.
* Record time in accordance with Keoghs policies.
Working Hours
35 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. The primary location is Parklands, Bolton Office.

* Understanding of legal frameworks for intelligence disclosure.
* Ability to draft comprehensive, professional reports.
* Basic commercial awareness.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good telephone manner.
* Confidence in liaising with clients and presenting logical arguments.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
