Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (no weekends)

About the Role Are you ready to do something different with your occupational therapy skills? We’re seeking qualified Occupational Therapists to join our client’s team as Functional Assessors .
This hybrid role is based in Weymouth (DT4), offering a mix of home working and on‑site assessments at a local consultation centre.
You’ll carry out functional assessments for individuals applying for disability‑related benefits, focusing on how their health conditions impact their ability to perform work‑related tasks. This is a non‑treatment role centred on assessment and reporting, with full training provided.
What You’ll Do
* Conduct telephone, video, or face‑to‑face assessments in a supportive, non‑clinical environment.
* Evaluate how physical and mental health conditions affect work capability.
* Review medical evidence and claimant information to produce clear, structured reports for decision‑makers.
What You’ll Need
* Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience as an Occupational Therapist.
* HCPC registration.
* Strong communication, observation, and IT skills.
* Ability to write clear, structured reports.
