Job Title: Site Assistant
Pay scale: OAT Grade 2 (SCP 3 – 5) - £24,027 - £24,790
Hours: Monday to Friday 6.00am – 2.00pm, with potential for shift work, weekend, and out-of-hours work.
About the Role
Ormiston Meridian Academy seeks a motivated Site Assistant to maintain safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the premises. The role involves working closely with the Site Manager and facilities team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Duties
* Support maintenance of a clean environment, carry out minor repairs, and reinstatement of fabric and fittings.
* Assist with site checks and documentation using the digital Facilities Management system.
* Contribute to security, safety, cleanliness, and comfort of the academy environment.
* Participate in building and facilities repairs and maintenance, including PPMs and reactive repairs.
* Coordinate and manage contractor activities alongside the Site Manager.
