Root Bath - Chef de Partie
Root Restaurants are modern, veg-led, sharing plates restaurants sitting both on the banks of Bristol's harbour on Wapping Wharf, and in the heart of Wells. Opening in 2017, owners Josh Eggleton (The Pony) and Luke Hasell (The Story Farms / Valleyfest) wanted to create forward-thinking restaurants that champion local suppliers and producers, and led with a 'more veg, less meat' ethos.
After the success of Root Bristol, Head Chef Rob Howell and Group Manager Meg Oakley wanted to bring a neighbourhood restaurant to their home town, Wells. You'll find the restaurant situated in the heart of the city, just a stones throw from the Cathedral.
We are now excited to announce we are opening our third restaurant in the historic city of Bath, situated in the new development of Shire's Yard.
