What are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience (desired)
* Proven experience in fundraising leadership, ideally within the nonprofit or social impact sector.
* A strong track record of securing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and grants from trusts, foundations, and government bodies.
* Experience developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies to meet and exceed financial targets.
* Strong background in corporate partnerships, donor stewardship, and relationship management.
* Knowledge of fundraising compliance and ethical standards, including GDPR and relevant UK regulations - or willingness to learn.
* Experience managing fundraising budgets, forecasting revenue, and reporting to leadership teams.
* Familiarity with digital fundraising tools, crowdfunding, and donor management systems.

* Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure diverse funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, major donors, and public fundraising.
* Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and funding organisations.
* Research and apply for grants from trusts, foundations, and government bodies to secure long‑term funding.
* Create and lead fundraising campaigns, including digital, events‑based, and community‑driven initiatives.
* Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance donor engagement and brand visibility.
* Manage fundraising targets and budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and transparency.
* Monitor and report on fundraising performance, providing insights to leadership for strategy refinement.
* Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and ethical standards.
* Explore innovative funding opportunities, including corporate partnerships, crowdfunding, and impact investment.
