Clerk to the Governors
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Clerk to the Governors to support our Governing Body. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of governance requirements and charity board procedures, with proven experience working alongside boards or committees.
Excellent organisational skills are essential to manage meetings, deadlines, and documentation efficiently, along with strong written communication skills to produce accurate agendas, minutes, and reports. A high attention to detail is required, alongside a flexibility to manage a varied workload is important.
Working hours: 14.25 hours per week - inclusive of admin time and attendance at 10 governor committee meetings per year (held in the evenings), plus 4 full governor board meetings (1 held in the evening and 3 on Saturdays across the year).
