Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support/Retirement Living Scheme Worker to join a Housing Association on an ongoing temporary contract. Thsis is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
About the Role
As Scheme Officer, you will:

Support residents to maintain their wellbeing and independence
*
Promote resident engagement and community involvement
*
Carry out scheme inspections and compliance checks, including health & safety and fire alarm testing
*
Monitor and liaise with contractors to ensure services are delivered to agreed standards
*
Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support
*
Assist with lettings, resales and income monitoring
*
Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues at first point of contact where possible
*
Escalate more complex housing matters to the Housing Officer where appropriate
We are looking for someone who has:

Experience within housing, supported housing or retirement living
*
An understanding of the needs of older people and the importance of promoting independence
