Senior Geologist Location: Inverness Area Employment Type: Permanent The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Geologist to join a major infrastructure contractor delivering a large-scale renewable energy project in the north of Scotland. This role will support the delivery of complex civil engineering and ground engineering works by providing geological expertise across construction activities, site investigations, ground assessments, and geotechnical operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Geological & Ground Engineering Support Provide geological support across construction and infrastructure activities on site. Interpret geological and geotechnical data to support project planning and delivery. Monitor ground conditions and advise project teams on geological risks and constraints. Support excavation, tunnelling, earthworks, slope stability, and foundation activities where applicable.
