Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service at the bar Prepare and serve all drinks to a consistently high standard, including cocktails, wines, spirits, shots, Guinness, cider, craft beers, soft drinks, coffees, teas, etc. Assist guests with games and equipment, including Snooker, English pool, American pool, Chinese pool, darts, interactive darts, and shuffleboard Support guests with memberships and handle games bookings to ensure a smooth and organised experience Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the bar, lounge, and other public areas, including clearing glasses, restocking tables, and ensuring toilets and service areas are tidy and well supplied Restock fridges, bars, and service areas as needed Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly Support colleagues during peak times to ensure smooth operations Follow all health, safety, licensing, and hygiene policies consistently About You Previous bar or hospitality experience required A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude Confident working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards Committed, dependable, and punctual, with a professional approach to all shifts Flexible and adaptable to support the team when needed Passionate about providing excellent customer service Professional appearance and demeanor at all times Able to contribute to maintaining Maxi Lounge’s reputation as a premium destination both locally and nationally A genuine enthusiasm for cue sports, darts, and other games is highly valued What We Offer Pay: £13.00 per hour Flexible zero-hour contracts, fully compliant with current and upcoming employment regulations, including auto-enrolment for eligible employees Competitive pay plus tips and incentives Full training across bar service, games support, customer service, and handling bookings and memberships Experience working in a premium, high-quality leisure lounge A supportive, professional, team-focused environment where your contribution is valued Staff perks including discounted food and drinks and access to venue events Opportunities to develop your skills and grow your career We are committed to complying with all employment laws and will ensure our contracts and practices meet the current and upcoming requirements coming into effect in April 2026.
