Are you an experienced and passionate SENCo looking for a rewarding part-time role? This Southend-based primary school is seeking a committed professional to provide maternity cover and continue delivering high-quality support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

The Role
As the SENCo, you will:
* Lead and coordinate SEN provision across the school
* Support teachers in planning and implementing strategies for a range of needs
* Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals
* Monitor pupil progress and review support plans
* Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice
* Provide training, guidance, and expertise to staff
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it)
* Strong understanding of SEND processes and legislation
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A reflective, supportive, and approachable practitioner
