The Marine HR Department
The Marine HR Department ensures our organization has a skilled and competent workforce. We coordinate all aspects of employment, remuneration, and personnel management in line with our Quality Management System and client requirements. We foster a culture of collaboration, personal growth, and development.
What You Will Do
This role involves managing all aspects related to Worksite Personnel employment, payment, appointment, and departure, adhering to our Quality Management System and client specifications.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for personnel-related inquiries
* Ensure worksite staffing by qualified personnel within budget and policy guidelines
* Follow recruitment and document check procedures as per MPD Manual
* Provide new recruits with company and client policies
* Prepare employment agreements for worksite personnel
* Maintain employee documentation and compliance
* Arrange travel and visas efficiently, following policies
* Coordinate travel details and communicate relief plans
* Update crewing systems and personnel files promptly
* Process payroll and liaise with finance for timely payments
* Gather performance appraisals and identify training needs
* Report potential issues impacting staffing to Marine Personnel Manager
* Participate in client meetings as needed
* Review and suggest improvements to policies and promote safety and environmental standards
What We Are Looking For
* Experience in recruiting and managing crew in the shipping industry
* Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry
