Job Title: Specialist SEN Tutor

Rate: £25–£30 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Tutor to deliver personalised educational provision to children and young people with identified special educational needs across Leicestershire.
Provision will be delivered on a 1:1 basis in accordance with EHCP outcomes, supporting learners who may be out of mainstream education or requiring additional targeted support.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver structured learning programmes in line with EHCP outcomes
* Support learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, and associated needs
* Monitor and report progress to parents, schools, and relevant professionals
* Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and compliance requirements
Essential Criteria
* Recognised teaching qualification (QTS/HLTA) or substantial SEN tutoring experience
* Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice
* Experience working with vulnerable learners
* Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)
* Ability to travel within Northamptonshire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
