Job Description
The role of Margin Assurance Specialist is really important to our Telecoms Business, You will be responsible for identifying areas of revenue and cost leakage, generating in-year and future P&L value and helping to review, improve and implement new business processes where required.
We would love to welcome you to our Crewe office, a five-minute walk from Crewe Train Station working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Your responsibilities day to day will be…
* Interrogate and challenge our mobile network revenue, ensuring Radius is receiving all revenue owed for its customers across all revenue streams
* Support the Revenue Assurance Manager in Wholesale billing and process reviews, identifying areas of leakage and challenging the business on low margin / loss making customers.
* Review of credits, including root cause analysis and working with the business to reduce errors, queries and reasons for credits.
* Conduct supplier reconciliations to ensure all costs are correctly being passed through to the customer while making sure that any cost movements are understood and where appropriate escalated and challenged.
* Support the wider team on the delivery of multiple projects designed to support margins, streamline business processes and ensure robust checks and balances are in place.
Qualifications
What do we expect of you?
* Minimum 3 years’ experience of working in a Finance/Operational Finance related role.
* Ability to influence and effect change with a varied group of stakeholders.
* Comfortable with and tenacious in ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, with the ability to challenge the business to ensure minimal leakage while maximising the positive impact on the current year’s performance.
* Strong Excel skills – including experience of creating and using Pivot Tables and Lookups.
* Knowledge of and the ability to utilise advance functions like Power Query as well as BI software such as Tableau and Power BI would be advantageous.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience of interacting across all levels of the organisation including dealing with non-finance colleagues and external stakeholders to gather relevant information.
* Experience of fostering strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience of interpreting and handling large datasets from various sources would be advantageous.
