As a Sushi Prep Chef at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you’ll play a key role in delivering the artistry and quality that define Nobu’s globally renowned dining experience. This role demands precision, passion and a commitment to the highest culinary standards - ensuring every dish reflects Nobu’s signature approach to Japanese cuisine. You will Prepare, cut and present sushi dishes to Nobu’s exacting standards Ensure your station is set up and operating efficiently throughout service Follow Nobu recipes and maintain consistency across all dishes Guarantee strict hygiene, safety and sanitation practices at all times Store raw materials safely and maintain cleanliness in all areas Monitor Health & Safety compliance and report any issues promptly Maintain equipment in safe working condition and report breakdowns Handle allergy requests with care and communicate clearly with service teams Support and train new team members, fostering collaboration and excellence Attend team briefings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement Demonstrate a proactive, positive approach to work and guest care Act as an ambassador for Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro What We’re Looking For You bring experience in sushi preparation within a luxury hospitality or fine dining environment.
