We are looking for passionate people with previous experience in vulnerability research and reverse engineering on Android.
The role:
* You will join our team to identify vulnerabilities in devices running Android-based operating systems using a combination of static and dynamic analysis techniques.
* You will develop proof-of-concepts for vulnerabilities identified.
* You'll use common VR toolsets such as fuzzers and reverse engineering tools (this includes access to custom tooling developed in-house) and develop your own as needed.
* You'll need to present your findings in a useful and accessible way to others.
* You'll have access to internal and external training and conferences to refine and hone your skills.
The ideal candidate:
* Direct experience performing vulnerability research and reverse engineering on Android platforms.
* Knowledge of Android platform internals and core concepts such as Android IPC.
* Knowledge of the Android security model.
* Familiarity with common toolsets such as disassemblers, decompilers and instrumentation frameworks (e.g. Frida).
* Ability to read ARM assembly and reverse engineer native C/C++ binaries and/or experience reverse engineering Java/Smali code.
* Interested and passionate about learning new things, taking things apart, and getting stuck into new problems and challenges.

The location:
* Depending on location you'll have the opportunity to either work remotely or from one of our offices, based in the centre of Basingstoke (6-minute walk from the local shopping centre & train station) or London (Southwark).
