Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to work within our supported living service in Oadby, Leicestershire. In this role you will deliver and oversee high‑quality support for three individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, helping them live as independently as possible within their own homes. You will play a key role in ensuring each person receives tailored, person‑centred support that reflects their goals, preferences and aspirations. You will report to the Registered Manager, balancing hands‑on support, leadership and administrative responsibilities while ensuring the service runs smoothly, safely and in line with best practice and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide hands‑on support to promote choice, control, and inclusion in everyday life.
* Facilitate daily living skills, communication, emotional regulation and decision‑making.
* Mentor and guide staff, support coordination of the service and maintain health and safety standards.
* Keep accurate records, report changes in health or circumstances to management.
* Maintain compliance with the Care Quality Commission standards and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months of right to work in the UK.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification and willingness to work towards Level 3.
* Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs preferred.
