Job Title: Cyber Defence Specialist
Location: Uxbridge, United Kingdom
Purpose of the Role
You will be accountable for all elements of cyber defence. This role will be part of the IT Infrastructure team within Pilgrim’s Europe and will own the European cyber defence roadmap and strategy. It is an exciting new role that requires a blend of strategic decision‑making and day‑to‑day cyber defence operations. You will serve as a mentor and escalation point for operational and project issues and provide input into the technical direction of the group with peers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and proactively manage the European portfolio of cyber defence solutions
* Develop and maintain robust procedures and practices that promote a culture of cyber‑safe service excellence
* Ensure cyber defence systems align with security governance
* Deliver excellent service, working with all IT teams to maintain customer satisfaction
* Build relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Director of IT Operations, IT Infrastructure Manager and Head of Cyber Security
* Take proactive ownership of the Cyber Defence strategy by creating, aligning and executing initiatives such as:
o Penetration Testing
o Security Operations Centre Management
o Endpoint Detection and Response
o Security Information and Event Management
o Incident Response Plan
o Threat Hunting
Skills & Experience Required
