The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead the day:to:day warehouse operation and be responsible for managing Team Leaders, Operatives, and Stock Control.
Youll work cross:functionally with internal teams to ensure operations are aligned with business goals, continuously improving processes while delivering against customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all warehouse operations to maximise efficiency and output
* Monitor and deliver against key operational KPIs
* Drive continuous improvement across processes, productivity, and performance
* Oversee picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure accuracy and high:quality standards
* Investigate errors and implement corrective actions and training
* Ensure timely stock replenishment to support smooth order fulfilment
* Coordinate vehicle loading to meet delivery schedules
* Work closely with Quality teams to reduce damage and improve standards
* Promote and enforce health and safety best practice across the operation
* Lead, coach, and develop your team to achieve high performance
* Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and development planning
* Foster a positive culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and accountability
* Minimise waste and control operational costs
* Ensure a clean, organised, and efficient working environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a hands:on leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development.
Experience and Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years experience in a Warehouse Management or similar leadership role
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, processes, and best practice
* Experience working with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems
Skills and Knowledge
* Strong analytical and problem:solving capability
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
* Good numerical and reporting skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
