Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist with expertise in Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions to join the team at Worthing General Hospital. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing expert assessment and treatment to patients with MSK conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with MSK conditions.
* Provide evidence-based interventions to improve functional outcomes for patients.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
* Support and supervise junior staff and provide guidance to Occupational Therapy assistants.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards.
* Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
* HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
* Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience, with a focus on MSK conditions.
* Proven experience in a hospital setting, ideally in orthopaedics or MSK.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
* Ability to manage a complex caseload and prioritise effectively.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
