Job Summary: The Marketing Director forms part of our visionary leadership team and is responsible for developing and executing the brand marketing strategies to elevate brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and achieve business growth. As a key member of the executive team, the Marketing Director oversees all aspects of marketing, including brand management, digital marketing, product positioning, and market research.

This role suits an experienced marketeer who can blend their experience of building brands through authentic story telling, with their passion and interest in sailing and all things boating. For the right candidate this role offers high levels of autonomy to drive the brand forward in all aspects of marketing.
o Develop and implement the company’s overarching marketing vision and strategy.
o Align marketing initiatives with business objectives to drive growth and profitability.
Brand Management
o Enhance and improve the company’s brand identity and market presence.
o Lead creative campaigns and storytelling to resonate with target audiences.
Digital Marketing and Analytics
o Oversee digital marketing strategies, social media, email campaigns, and paid ads.
o Leverage data analytics to measure marketing effectiveness and optimise strategies.
o Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
Market Research
o Identify new opportunities for innovation and growth.
o Partner with product development, sales, and finance teams to align marketing efforts.
o Present marketing strategies and performance to stakeholders and the board.
Proven track record in senior marketing roles, with a focus on brand management and digital strategies.
