Cranleigh Gardens Medical centre is part of the Bridgwater PCN We are looking for a salaried GP to join our welcoming, hardworking, and forward-thinking team.
Pay will be competitive: Portfolio Working: Blocked Admin Time: 6 weeks holiday: 1 week study leave: Indemnity (the extra costs on top of crown is fully paid by the practice)Salaried GP 4 - 6 sessions per week
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic individual who is proactive and well organised. They will need to be passionate about delivering high standards of patient care. We provide daily ongoing peer support and case based discussion; and each month we have clinical educational meetings. Salaried GP's have a very limited home visit requirement freeing up time for administrative work.

Main duties of the job
Working As Part Of Our Multidisciplinary Team, You Will Have The Opportunity To Support And Care For a Diverse Patient Group. The Main Responsibilities Of The Role Include:
Undertaking a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking, and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, reports and correspondence in a timely manner.
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems
Assessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
Recording clear consultation notes to agreed standards
Collecting data for audit purposes and complying with QOF requirements
All general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Our experienced team includes 4 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, and 2 Nurse Practitioners who work closely with our Same Day Access team to deliver responsive, high-quality care. We benefit from FCP (First Contact Practitioner) coverage four days a week, alongside dedicated Health Coaches who support patient wellbeing.

The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
Clinical Responsibilities: In accordance with the Practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
