Duties of a Service Advisor:
* Greeting customers in a friendly, professional manner both face-to-face and over the phone
* Preparing job cards and ensuring precise documentation of vehicle repairs and services
* Advising customers on service plans, repairs, and maintenance options
* Communicating effectively with the workshop to update customers on vehicle progress
* Upselling additional services and parts where appropriate
* Managing administrative tasks within the service department efficiently
* Supporting the smooth operation of the service department to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, or Service Administrator within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
* Ability to work well within a team and independently
* Knowledge of vehicle repair procedures and parts is advantageous
