If these are values you share, we would love for you to join our team. About The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic New Product Development assistant to join our dynamic NPD Team. You’ll report directly to the NPD Manager and support all aspects of product development, from concept through to production. You will be required to perform administrative tasks, assist with customers and suppliers as well as support a busy production environment with technical and quality input. The right individual will be friendly, attentive and able to communicate accurate information when needed. You should have a strong eye for detail and enjoy working within an innovative fast-paced and varied environment. A willingness to learn and collaborate closely with the development team is essential. Your Key Responsibilities Work closely with NPD Manager and Project Managers to coordinate and manage multiple projects Maintain and update project timelines and project plans Support in the development of technical specifications and sign off documents Support in the development & implementation of new equipment, products and processes Communicate regularly with customers and suppliers both in the UK and internationally Contribute to the setting and application of quality control standards Record and monitor stock movements accurately Flexibility and adaptability in a fast -paced working environment Availability for occasional overseas travel to meet with customers and suppliers What Are We Looking For Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Solid understanding of general office administration Ability to follow instructions and work independently on assigned tasks and projects A pro-active, inquisitive mindset with a hunger to learn, ask questions and get involved Strong problem solver – able to connect the dots between different elements and draw a logical conclusion You will care about your environment: Contribute to a positive, welcoming working environment for you and your colleagues Step up to help your colleagues across other departments when needed – teamwork is key Always show respect and consideration for those around you.
