The Security Systems Administrator is part of the corporate security team for a global biopharmaceutical company. The role involves managing the Technical Security program across international markets, engaging with third-party integrators, supporting implementation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The position can be based in Greater London, UK, or Cork, Ireland.
Responsibilities include:
1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
2. Support deployment and ensure functionality of security solutions like CCTV and access control systems.
3. Troubleshoot system malfunctions.
4. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
5. Participate in project meetings and site reviews.
6. Manage system installations, upgrades, and refreshes.
7. Communicate with stakeholders.
8. Track project delivery and mitigate risks.
9. Evaluate and recommend new technologies.
10. Create training materials for system use.
Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 2+ years of experience in security integration, project management, or equivalent.
* Understanding of managed network infrastructure and electrical principles.
* Experience with IP CCTV, access control systems (S2, Lenel, Honeywell, C-Cure).
* Hardware integration knowledge.
* Attention to detail and communication skills.
* Knowledge of security compliance (preferred).
* Computer proficiency and CAD experience (desirable).
* Security or technical certifications (desirable).
Working Conditions:
* Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
* Exposure to sensitive information and regular computer use.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Occasional lifting and operating office equipment.
* Travel as required.
