Teacher - St. Osmund’s C.E. Middle School, Dorchester, England. St. Osmund’s C.E. Middle School is an over-subscribed Middle School for Years 5–8, located in Dorchester. We are seeking to appoint a skilled classroom teacher for two terms to cover a maternity leave. The role is full-time and will teach the KS2 primary curriculum to Year 5 and Year 6 students from January 2026 to August 2026.
Responsibilities
* Teach the KS2 primary curriculum to Years 5 and 6.
* Cover maternity leave for two terms (January 2026 – August 2026).
* Work within a Christian vision and values that underpin all school activity.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive environment where pupils feel they belong.
* Collaborate with staff to support pupil achievement and well-being.

This role is UK-based and your right to work will need to be established as part of the appointment process. The salary is quoted as the annual salary at the time of the advert and will be paid in equal monthly instalments, with adjustments as needed if leaving part way through the academic year.
