Overview
Offshore Structural Engineer – London. Contract Type: Permanent. Work Arrangement: Flexible hybrid working. We are seeking an experienced Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team in London. This role offers broad exposure to diverse offshore energy projects, including early-phase engineering, execution, and decommissioning support.
Responsibilities
* Support offshore structural engineering activities across feasibility, FEED, troubleshooting, and decommissioning phases
* Design metallic offshore structures, including fixed platforms and floating topsides, and develop FEA models
* Design foundation elements such as piles and mud mats
* Assess and re-design existing structures, including life-extension studies and inspection planning
* Prepare technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and scopes of work
* Provide technical input to drawings and attend coordination meetings
* Collaborate closely with internal teams and other engineering disciplines throughout project delivery
* Liaise with clients, shipyards, contractors, and certification bodies
* Ensure compliance with offshore design standards and company HSEQ requirements
Requirements
* Familiarity with structural analysis and FEA software
* Experience with DNVGL SESAM or ANSYS is advantageous
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
