This is an exciting opportunity to support the NES Technology Service Directorate and the Data & Assurance department to deliver their strategic objectives and to be a key member of the Information Assurance team supporting the corporate position across NES.

To enable delivery of the NES Strategy 2023-2026, and assist NTS in our contribution to delivering against the Scottish Government Digital Health and Care Strategy and Data Strategy, NTS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Specialist Information Analyst (Data Protection)to provide specialist support to the delivery of NTS digital solutions.

Working within the NTS Information Assurance team you will have the opportunity to provide expert Senior Specialist Information Analyst (Data Protection)support to the NTS Domains, which will directly inform the development and delivery of this national programmes from a data privacy aspect.

Senior Specialist Information Analysts in Data Protection can offer a broad range of skills and experience, if you can offer some or all of these, we’d love you to apply:
1. Proven experience in design, implementation and evaluation of business/management processes and systems from a data protection compliance perspective
2. A clear understanding of Privacy Legislation
3. Highly experienced in working in the field of Information Governance and Data Protection
4. Highly effective communicator knowing how to make complex technical information and language simple for diverse senior and external stakeholders (both verbally and in writing)
5. Ability to collaborate effectively and build networks and communities of practice
6. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others, utilising tact and persuasion skills when necessary
7. Ability to work on own initiative, to organise and prioritise own workloads, to meet strict deadlines
8. Line management and coaching/mentoring experience
