Job Purpose
Hiring for Workshop Service Technician for Speers, PA!
Job Description
1. Assembles and tests assemblies per TechnipFMC specifications. Applies and develops basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment.
2. Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
3. Cleans up components after assembly per TechnipFMC specifications and verbal or written instructions.
4. Inputs labor details in time tracking system, charges time to projects.
5. Participates in Lean events with active involvement in CISP initiatives.
6. Uses material handling equipment to move parts and components from one work or storage area to another as required.
7. Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area. Practices good housekeeping in work area.
8. Learns procedures and practices safety to prepare for next level
9. Assists other Assemblers as assigned in more advanced functions as part of training.
You are meant for this job if:
10. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education, if candidate successfully completes an aptitude and reading comprehension assessment in the pre-employment process.
11. Must possess a clear understanding of general math & can read, write, speak, and comprehend English. Ability to comprehend engineering and weld drawings.
12. Ability to use personal computer and/or workstation.
13. Two year(s) plus mechanical experience.
14. Ability to operate High Torque Wrenches, Overhead Cranes, Jib Cranes, Forklifts, and Rigging. Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring devices such as tapes, rulers and pressure gauges.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Shop environment. High noise level. May work with high-pressure equipment and chemicals. May be subject to inclement weather conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing upward, crawling in confined workspace, walking and lifting daily.
