We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our excellent team across our three-site group of clinics in West Sussex.

Alphapet is a well-established Veterinary Group on the Southern Coast of England, serving our community for over 30 years. In addition to small animal care, we collaborate with a local wildlife hospital to treat a diverse range of wild animals. Our aim is to provide the best possible care for our patients while fostering a development-focused environment, giving our team a wide set of skills. We encourage feedback, case discussions, and good communication across all roles.
What We Offer
* Full-time or Part-time candidates considered
* Shifts between 8 am - 7 pm
* Flexibility for part-time work or a 4-day working week.
* A rota that includes 1:4 Saturday mornings.
* No out-of-hours or bank holidays as these are covered by Vets-Now.
* A supportive team that includes 3 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 2 qualified Animal Nursing Assistants, and a dedicated reception team.
* State-of-the-art equipment including Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Radiography, and a fully equipped lab.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 2 years' experience, who is capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with consultations and surgeries and willing to work across our three sites. We are happy to support someone wanting to grow, including those interested in completing a certificate.
