Your new role
1. Oversee classroom learning in the absence of the class teacher.
2. Experience with classroom behavioural management, following the school’s policies and procedures to maintain a positive learning environment.
3. Deliver engaging sessions across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach in specialised subjects such as maths, science, English, and
4. Step into diverse classrooms across the picturesque district of West Lancashire.
5. Adapt quickly to different school cultures and follow lesson plans.
6. Inspire students to achieve their best, even in short-term placements.
What you'll need to succeed
7. You do not need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or subject specialism for the role.
8. However, you must have experience working with young people either in a school setting or other environments such as youth care, social care, charity work or mentoring.
9. Experience in behavioural management and be able to build a rapport.
10. Flexible, reliable, and proactive in supporting schools at short notice.
11. The right to work in the UK with an enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
