Day to day responsibilities will include processing of expenditure invoices via our data capture system to ensure payment deadlines are met, review of sensitive nominal codes, identifying CAPEX, prepayments and accruals. Analysing costs against budgets and reporting key variances to the Finance Manager team. Assisting in budgeting and reforecasting as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
* Ownership of a selection of cost centres & balance sheet codes
* Posting and evidencing monthly accruals, prepayments and other journals as required
* Analysing costs versus budgets and communicating key variances
* Processing of Property & utility invoices using our data capture approval system
* Monthly business rates reconciliation
* Quarterly/monthly rents payment preparation
* Fixed Asset review and transactional postings to include depreciation
* CIS preparation
* Supporting budgeting and reforecasting
* key role in Month end and year end deadlines
* adhoc tasks as and when required
Person Specification:
* Financial qualification (AAT or equivalent) preferred
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* High level of accuracy / organisational skills
* IT literate with intermediate / advanced Excel skills
