Lead SEN Teacher Location: Nottingham Salary: Starting from £34,782.19 (Dependant on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: Immediately Available Monarch Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Lead Teacher to support learners with additional needs across various educational settings. As Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for the progress and development of learners, ensuring high standards of teaching, safeguarding, and learner engagement. You will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of young people, helping them to achieve their individual potential in a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individual and small group teaching across a range of subjects to KS3 and KS4 pupils. Lead on curriculum planning, schemes of work, and lesson delivery at your site. Monitor learner progress and contribute to raising attainment. Collaborate with multi-agency teams to support holistic learner development. Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management procedures are followed. Support the Learning Manager with assessments, reports, and transition planning. Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement. Essential Requirements : QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Two years' experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults in an educational setting. Strong curriculum knowledge and ability to differentiate for additional needs. Effective communication and ICT skills. Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection.
