Your Role
* Provide expert advice and support to operational teams on environmental management and compliance with the Development Consent Order.
* Develop and sustain local environmental management plans that uphold our commitment to sustainability.
* Collaborate with regulators, clients, subcontractors, and local stakeholders, fostering relationships and ensuring compliance.
* Investigate and report environmental incidents, contributing valuable insights and recommendations.
* Attend project meetings and liaise with diverse stakeholders on sustainability matters.
* Deliver value-adding environment projects and drive ecological enhancements across the site.
What You’ll Bring
* A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
* Comprehensive knowledge of environmental management, sustainable development, and legislation.
* Practical experience in ecology, archaeological mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
* Membership with the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA).
* A full UK driver’s license with the flexibility to travel.
* Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Desirable Attributes
* An internal environmental auditor qualification and ecological surveying competency.
* Familiarity with Development Consent Orders and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
* A Master’s degree in a relevant field and NEBOSH H&S Diploma or equivalent.
