We're seeking an experienced Product Director to lead the development and delivery of pioneering technology solutions supporting R&D, Safety, Regulatory, and Quality functions for a leading business in the Essential Home sector.
About the Role:
As Product Director, you'll have the opportunity to build and own a new product function from the ground up. You'll set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a suite of technology products, including PLM, Digital Simulation, Consumer Safety, Labelling, and Quality Management. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that support business objectives and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for R&D, Safety, Regulatory, and Quality technology solutions.
* Lead and inspire a team of product managers and technical experts, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
* Oversee the design, development, and launch of new products and features, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial functions to understand needs and deliver value.
* Monitor industry trends and integrate emerging technologies into the product portfolio.
* Own product portfolio management, ensuring products meet high standards of performance, quality, and user experience.
* Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to teams, driving continuous improvement and scalability.
* Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
About You:
* Strategic, visionary leader with a track record of building and scaling product functions.
* Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter with high ownership and accountability.
* Collaborative, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Minimum 8 years' experience in product management or R&D, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
* Deep understanding of Laboratory Management, Digital Simulation, Consumer Safety & Labelling, Product Lifecycle Management, Product Portfolio Management, Regulatory, and Quality Management.
* Proven success in delivering complex technology products and projects.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and product development best practices.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive innovation in a dynamic environment.
