Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering team, including performance management, development, and resource planning.
* Oversee the design and implementation of systems, equipment, and processes for new product introductions, with a focus on Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and gated processes.
* Provide engineering support to Operations to eliminate waste, resolve manufacturing issues, and ensure effective maintenance, tooling, and documentation.
* Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to maintain supplier quality and ensure smooth integration of engineering changes.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives across production and support functions to enhance overall product delivery.
* Contribute to strategic planning and cross-functional leadership as part of the Senior Operations team.


Qualifications & Experience

* Degree (or equivalent) in a technical or engineering discipline.
* Strong knowledge of core manufacturing processes.
* Proven experience in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D) and statistical analysis tools.
* Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment—ideally low-volume, electromechanical, high-tech, or vacuum systems.
* Demonstrated success in managing engineering teams.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Project management expertise.
* Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
