Are you an experienced Fire Risk Assessor looking for a new opportunity? MTVH is seeking a qualified professional to join our Compliance Services team within the Property Directorate. This role involves conducting fire risk assessments, audits, inspections, and surveys across our housing stock to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and minimize risk.
We are recruiting Fire Risk Assessors to perform assessments on Type 1, 2, and 3 buildings. Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring 100% compliance for Fire Risk Assessments across MTVH properties.
2. Collaborating with a team of Fire Risk Assessors to view fire risk holistically and communicate findings accurately.
3. Identifying and communicating remedial works aligned with MTVH FRA process timelines.
4. Providing technical fire safety advice internally and liaising with external organizations regarding fire safety.
Requirements:
* Strong technical background with understanding of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (2005) and relevant legislation.
* Experience in housing-related fire safety assessments.
* Excellent communication skills to convey fire risk and safety practices.
* Tier 2 accreditation via IFSM or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
* Hold a valid fire safety qualification such as NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the fire safety industry, especially in social housing.
Additional requirements include a Basic DBS check upon employment and note that MTVH does not offer visa sponsorship.
