About Braefield Nursing Home
Braefield Nursing Home is based in the picturesque village of Connor, located between Antrim and Ballymena. It is a 56-bed facility spread over 3 units, registered with the RQIA to care for individuals with various needs, including mental health, physical disabilities, and dementia. We cater to categories such as Mental Health Nursing, Frail and Elderly Nursing, and Dementia Nursing. Our dedicated team is committed to providing high standards of person-centered care.
The Role
The Domestic Assistant plays a vital role in our mission to deliver excellent care. Supporting the Housekeeper, the Domestic Assistant helps maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment, contributing to the residents' wellbeing and quality of life. The role involves working closely with care teams and residents to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Main Responsibilities
1. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the home.
2. Perform domestic duties as assigned.
3. Report any damage, faults, or issues to maintenance or management.
4. Follow cleaning and auditing schedules.
5. Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
6. Undertake additional duties as reasonably required by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
