The opportunity. Due to our continued growth, we are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Oxford team. The role is hybrid working. You will work closely with colleagues across our London, Oxford and Cambridge offices. All under the guidance of your line manager, Principal Engineers, and project leaders. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has confidence in the design of electrical services and efficiency in design software. You will be responsible for the oversight of engineers and technicians, including the mentoring and training of other staff; the management of project workflows and milestones; and adherence to internal Quality Assurance standards. As you progress, you will gain experience in bidding for new work, drafting fee proposals and project financial management.
What will you do? You will be working closely with other team members seeing projects through from inception to completion and handover.

* On-site supervision
* Contract administration
* Management of electrical services installations
What we are looking for. Essential
* A degree in a relevant subject
* Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in building services design
* Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members
* Project experience across different sectors of the industry
* Thorough technical knowledge of electrical design software and AutoCad
* Excellent communication skills
* Accurate, good organisational, and prioritisation skills
* Own transport and driving license
* Competent in using Microsoft Office
Desirable
* Design and modelling software, previous experience (full training will be provided)
* Knowledge and Revit experience an advantage
