Contribute as part of a multi-skilled team to deliver an efficient and effective Environmental Service within our communities, supporting the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council’s key objectives as outlined in the East Ayrshire Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.

The Individual
This is a full-time temporary position until 1st July 2027, based at Western Road Depot, Kilmarnock. The hours are 35 per week, with the work pattern: Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm & Friday 9am-4pm.
The full-time salary ranges from £34,453 to £37,365 per annum.
The workstyle is ‘Flexible’ — 50-79% of the time is office-based. Employees may work at different locations, including occasional work from home or other sites 1-2 days per week.
