Honeycomb is delighted to be working with the Business Services Organisation to recruit for a number of Band 3 Verification Officers to work in their City Centre offices. Our client is a well-established healthcare organisation located in Belfast City Centre, providing vital services to the community. They pride themselves on delivering efficient, accurate, and patient-focused support within a professional and welcoming environment. They are recruiting 2 temporary staff to join their team to verify claims to access to free health care across Northern Ireland The Person We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment, handling queries directly with patients, and ensuring that all administrative processes are carried out to the highest standard. The Role Position: Administrative Officer (Verification Services) Location: Belfast City Centre Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) Type: Temporary Contract This role is office Based Main Duties & Responsibilities: Process all elements of entitlement to healthcare services verification, including issuing letters, updating case management systems, and assessing entitlement based on received information. Verify the accuracy of system outputs and patient correspondence. Handle queries from patients in person and over the phone, providing professional and accurate information. Participate in daily post opening, filing, and accurate record-keeping in line with policies. Liaise with government agencies to support independent verification checks. Conduct systematic assessments of entitlement and issue reminder or outcome letters as required. Maintain manual systems to ensure outstanding cases are monitored and resolved. Safeguard data security and confidentiality at all times. Complete all work to agreed professional standards and in compliance with legislation. Carry out any additional duties appropriate to the role as allocated. Essential Criteria 5 GCSE's or Equivalent including Maths and English Or 1 Years administration experience.
