Description
* Quote and execute FX transactions within approved mandates.
* Refine, implement and uphold robust FX trading desk procedures.
* Deliver business results by executing the desk strategy and wider business plan.
* Ensure full adherence to First Line responsibilities, including compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
* Continuously identify, assess, mitigate/manage and monitor all risks, including credit, market, liquidity, operational, valuation, model and compliance risks (such as conduct risk and conflicts of interest).
* Report and escape any material risk events or losses promptly to line management, identify root causes, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Profile
* A degree in a related field.
* Proven experience trading FX products.
* Strong technical knowledge of FX and other Treasury instruments, with strong emphasis on derivatives.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Capability to support delivery of strategic business plans.
* Ability to engage clients with insightful and well‑reasoned market discussions.
* Broad market experience and strong commercial understanding.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with Treasury colleagues to optimise efficiency and profitability.
* Comfortable working within a small, close‑knit team.
* Consistent commitment to strong risk management and compliance standards.
