Are you someone who wants to make a real difference in the aviation industry?
Are you motivated by doing the right thing, solving problems, and helping others succeed?
At Blue Altitude, we're looking for a Trainee Safety & Compliance Officer – someone with character, commitment, and curiosity more than just qualifications.
About the Role
You'll work directly with the business owner in the aviation safety and compliance sector. This isn't a desk-bound job ticking boxes – it's hands-on, dynamic, and requires emotional intelligence, clear communication, and resilience. You'll be trained and coached to understand and apply regulatory frameworks, and over time, you'll help organisations improve how they operate.
Who We're Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who:
* Works well in small teams and independently
* Is honest, professional, and trustworthy
* Is reactive and adaptable – can think on their feet
* Has strong written and verbal communication skills
* Can build relationships with clients and colleagues
* Is IT literate – confident using Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, and writing professional documents
* Wants to learn, grow, and take on responsibility
* Has perseverance, patience, and the motivation to keep moving forward
* Wants to make a positive impact
Experience or qualifications in aviation, compliance, or safety are not essential – the right mindset is.
In Return, We Offer
* One-to-one coaching, mentoring and hands-on training
* Exposure to real-world aviation operations
* Opportunities to grow in the safety and compliance field
* A role with meaning – where your input helps organisations improve and evolve
* A varied working environment – no two days are the same
Some days will be long. Some challenges will test you. But the reward? Knowing you're part of something important – helping teams stay safe, compliant, and successful.
